Clockwork Trailer

My primary inspiration for making abstract movies is not the world of experimental film so much as the tiny bits of abstraction and experimentalism that find their way into mainstream or "arthouse" films. I love the really insane sequences in Tetsuo, for example (stop-motion chase scenes, wire explosions, etc.), and then the movie goes back to straightforward shots of people talking to each other and doing plot things... boring.

Likewise, I tend to like the "slow" sequences in Tarkovsky films more than the dialogue scenes.

A great example of what I like is the trailer for Clockwork Orange, created by Pablo Ferro:

I love this. I want to watch feature length movies directed in this stlye.
