We had a reasonably traditional Wiccan/Celtic wedding during the summer of 1996, at The Living Room, in Providence. The ceremony involved a knighting of the groom, crowning of the bride, drinking from a chalace, and lighting a series of candles, in addition to the standard rings and hand-binding.

Guests were encouraged to come in any sort of costume they wanted. Our friend Andy showed up in a green fairy costume from Brazil which was truly awe-inspiring.

As soon as we were pronounced husband and wife, turned to the thunderous cheers of the guests, and started back up the aisle, James Brown's "I Feel Good" kicked in on the PA. This is a list of the entire tape that was played at the reception.

Violent Anal Death were supposed to perform, but they showed up with no gear, so they just stuck around for the ceremony and the food. They were very helpfull in scaring the straight relatives and making them feel uncomfortable, and for that we will be eternally thankfull.

My sister, Julie was the best man.

My Dad who is a minister, officiated.
