As much as I love Penelope Spheeris's punk documentary The Decline of Western Civilization, there's one tiny little thing she did in it that annoys me immensely. In the fan interviews:

That lightbulb isn't doing anything. Look at the shadow on his face, and the shadows on the wall. The hanging light is doing absolutely nothing. I'm all for having your lights on screen, but if you're going to do that, do it for real.
